In the last survey, a British Airways flight was the cheapest return flight from London to Cape Town (at £501). Unfortuanately, flight prices have gone up a bit since then and an Air France flight booking (for a KLM flight!) now offers the cheapest return flight from London to Cape Town (at £565).
Comparison of flight prices from London to Cape Town
We looked at flights leaving London for Cape Town on the 27th December 2007 (where airlines easily faciliated it, we checked the flight prices around this date) and returning from Cape Town for London on the 17th January.
KLM flights are cheaper when booked with Air France!
The cheapest Air France flight (£565) is £1 cheaper than the cheapest KLM airline flight (£566). In fact Air France and KLM airlines are in partnership, and the cheapest flight with Air France is a KLM flight (which strangely enough is cheaper when booked on the Air France website!).
