Before it was suspended, Zambezi Airlines was offering flights from and within Zambia, before it was suspended. Its planes are maintained at the airline's maintenance facilities in Lusaka, and by South African company, Jetworx (who are also responsible for certification).

Zambezi Airlines flies its inaugural flight from Livingstone to Cape Town. It will operate a three times a week direct service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Livingstone, Zambia, “Recently, Turkish Airlines and Emirates Airline increased their number of flights and Air France also announced its non-stop flight between Cape Town International and Paris, Charles de Gaulle with three flights a week. Now Zambezi Airlines will also be flying three times a week.
