I'm now happy because Nationwide is back in action .And i'm looking for training job as a travel consultant,no salary needed

John Simons

And now....having arranged Coach transport to and from Gatwick, today on the 9th January, I'm told that Nationwide has cancelled my return flight on 12 Feb and now it will be 13th Feb. So now I have to pay to re-arrange the Coach!!!!!!!!! I'm only flying with them this time, because I cannot afford to abandon this ticket which I paid for last October. It's the last time I fly with this bunch of "cowboys" And STILL they've not refunded me for the last mess, and STILL no communication from them. I wouldn't recommend "dialaflight.com either - they are the ticket agents who sell you tickets, then tell you that "You are on your own to get back, nothing to do with us now you are stuck abroad". Today they, or one of their employees, told me, "We wouldn't have said that" Travel Industry? - If I had my way, both these companies would be forcibly liquidated.

John Simons

I'll add my comment to this [undated] listing. I was one of those caught out at Durban at 1245 on 30th November. I, with a disabled companion, had to return into Durban, find someone to lend us a flat, and buy a ticket on SAA back to the UK on 10/11th December. I submitted a claim for refunds, by Fax, as per the webpage, on 6th December. The Airlines' help desk told me that my money would be in my Bank "on 11th December", it wasn't! They have not answered Emails, letters, no communication from "Nationwide" since! We have another set of tickets, purchased along with the first set; I asked for them to be cancelled, but they still stand, so I have to fly with these people again on 14th January - I don't want to, but I cannot afford not to. I realise that they may be hanging on because they've had a lot of expenses recently, [presumably a replacement right-hand engine doesn't come cheap], but an Email wouldn't go amiss. Doubt that they'll print this amongst all the "How wonderful they/we are" letters, though.

CE

Hi,my 2cents worth Nationwide dont see it self as a low cost carier.Thats what their managment said.Well it brain teasing to me.No food means low cost carier.I would rather fly mango if i didnt want food,if i wanted food id fly sa or ba.Nationwide sometimes are really expensive for Y class. The jhb to bloem factor.I dont think its cost effective for the airlines that operate bigger aircraft to fly such short distances.Maybe there not such a big demand after all.Just my opinion

George flights!!!

Nationwide tried Bloemfontein before, they pulled out quickly, just seems that Bloem people don't really take much to new airlines, 1Time failed and Mango already pulled the plug to DUR...

jonny

what a wonderful airline. why doesnt nationwide fly to bloemfontein?? theres such a big demand for u. please,please-for bloemfontein. everyone in bloemfontein wants u there!!!
