Must jewish pilots fly Saturdays? |
3 July 2007 |
Interesting thread at PPRUNE, an online forum where pilots can carry on all the gossiping they do in the cockpit. A Jewish pilot wont fly on Saturday, which is the Jewish sabbath, and is therefore being pulled from flight status (the company involved is Executive Turbine). Most of the commentators seem to agree that the pilot industry is a 24/7 secular industry, and there is no space for Christians, Jews or Muslims to not fly on their religious days of the week.
