17 January 2007 - I picked this up on budget travel today. South African Airways are offering a fly two for the price of one special. One passenger pays the standard airfare, whilst the other passenger only pays the various taxes. The sale is valid for departures from Washington, D.C. (Dulles) or New York (JFK) to either Cape Town or Johannesburg. With average flights pricing between $1500 and $2000 per person, that means each person can fly for $750-$1000 roundtrip. The deal is valid for flights between January 15th and February 15th 2007, with a minimum stay requirement of 7 days.
