Cederberg Conservancy |
The Cederberg mountains are located about 300km north of Cape Town, and are named after the Clanwilliam Ceder (Widdringtonia cedarbergensis), which is a tree endemic to the area. The area is filled with San rock art, evidence of the earliest human inhabitants (unfortuanately the arrival of Europeans removed the San population). When you visit, here's where you can find Cederberg accommodation options.
