Air Mauritius weekend sale

Air Mauritius are running a weekend sale for flights from Johannesburg to Mauritius. Sales take place on the 30th June and the 1st July 2012, and are on selected flights for the travel period from the 17th July to the 31st July 2012. Seats are very limited, and they advertised a price of R5815 (prices subject to change, perhaps even by the time you read this).

Bookings should be done at Air Mauritius (I noticed the site was down when I went to check so you may need to be patient).

The Purple shall rule! "What exactly is different? No extra planes are made available during holiday periods hence more flights
perhaps, everything seems to be the same as non holiday periods and airlines have now become so clever they even push up their fares for long weekends in advance. I think if we want to get people off the road like in December or easter weekends when road traffic volumes are expected to be high and dangerous the government should engage with the airlines to keep fares low so more people can fly instead of travelling those long hours either by car or bus etc. I stand to be corrected but from what I have seen nothing change during the holiday periods so why does fares have to escalate so drastically." The Bottom Line: "A recession is when you have to tighten your belt. A depression is when you have no belt to tighten. When you have lost your trousers - you're in the airline business." Sir Adam Thomson, founder of British Caledonian
