"Some countries use their national intelligence services to spy on visiting executives, especially when the executive’s competition in the host country is state subsidized or the technology involved is considered a national priority by the host government. This makes the visitor’s information vulnerable not only to hostile intelligence, but to hostile intelligence backed by state resources, which are significantly greater than those of corporate spies. This has been known to occur in Russia, India and China as well as in countries that many executives might not consider hostile, such as France and Israel." Stratfor

The Purple shall rule! I was saddened as I read what Sharon wrote to us about late yesterday regarding her treatment from Translux/City to City: "I am a foreign student studying at wits university in Johannesburg. On thursday july 21st at about 17:30 hrs i was at the traslux office at park station wishing to buy a city to city ticket to Tohoyandou.I was served by a gentleman called Norman. I enquired about ticket availabilty from him in english and he responded to me in a language i can only suspect to be sotho, i replied sorry to which he again spokein the same language. I explained to him that i could not understand asingle word of what he said to me and all hell broke loose.I was horrified at what he proceeded to say. These were Norman's words tome....'i am a black man and i speak only my mother's language....and you are you white? you only speak english all the time....go to thatcounter and buy your ticket' I was absolutely petrified...this is theworst customer service i have seen in my 3 years of study in S.A. Ibelieve that this day i came face to face with the xenophorbic side of South Africa.
I would like to know if translux/city to city serves only people from Normans mothers house who only speak his language? Does your companynot realise that there are people from from other nations who travelby coaches across south africa
in conclusion i would like to let you know that i was really dissapointed and felt victimised for being a foreigner by youremployees conduct....i was even shocked to learn that he was a he calls himself a pastor that is really deplorable for a man of the cloth."

The Bottom Line: Jloots wrote to us in disbelief at our offer of free investment advice: "Nothing in life is free!! Where is your catch? Do you think sa citizens are stupid?"

Our Reply: "Jloots, thanks for stopping by, and asking this important question! Google offers a number of products for "free", which are paid for through advertising. This is the same business model we'll be following...watch this space".
