The Table Bay Hotel's admirer

Nathi Mthethwa, our Police Minister, is a man with a taste for the finer things in life (just a pity that more spent on his luxuries means less for helping South Africans out of poverty). Mthethwa's 17-day stay at the presitigious Table Bay Hotel came to R235,000 (R13,824 a day), including a bar bill of R5,843. Apparently his deputy Fikile Mbalula, whose residence was also being renovated, also stayed at the Table Bay, but only for a single night - he moved out because he was uncomfortable about the high cost of his room.
