The Western Cape Province in general, and Cape Town in particular, is the best place to holiday in the springtime (and the good news is that is just 7 days away):

the Spring flowers are blooming

the Southern Right Whales are out in full force for their annual visit

the weather is neither too hot nor too cold
So, if you wanted to spend the entire Spring in Cape Town how much would it cost? We did a few quotes (these numbers could of course change): If you left Johannesburg for Cape Town on 31 Aug and returned on 30 Nov it would cost R1056 (or R978 from Durban to Cape Town).
