29 May 2008. Got my first Kulula credit card statement today - not bad going since I only received the card on the 19th May. The statement date is 21 May 2008, which indicates it takes them some 8 days from statement date to get to my postal box.
It's good to see that they highlight the expiry date of the Kulula moolah in the top left corner (where readers' eyes tend to go first) - "Been flying for free - don't forget to keep an eye on your kulula moolah expiry date".
In the centre in bold they inform me "you've earned R0 kulula moolah for this statement".
On credit interest I'm earning a whopping 2% (Kulula are a bit behind the Virgin credit card in this regard), and charge a straight interest rate of 35.3% (wow!), a big incentive to pay off anything I owe immediately.
Hadn't spent any money on my Kulula credit card at the statement date, but had run up fees of R99 (monthly service payment?).
